Hello and Welcome to Posh Piggy Couture!

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to learn a little more about me, a S@HM, and my homebased business.

My name is Leigh Ann.Not only am I the owner and designer behind Posh Piggy Couture,I am first and foremost I am a mother to 3 beautiful children.They happen to be the inspiration behind the clothing,gifts, and accessories I create.I am also a wife of a very loving husband, whom has supported my boutique craze & madness over the years.


After the birth of my daughter,in may 2005,I unexpectantly became a SAHM due to some health issues our little princess was unfortunately burdened with.She was hopitalized in Baltimore at the University of Maryland for the first month of her life.It was there she diagnosed with hypo-congenital thyroidism and also recieved the nickname "Piggy"...she was the chunkiest baby in the NICU room she was assigned to.(Hence the name Posh Piggy)

It was during my first few weeks at home,I stumbled upon the "Boutique Community" while browsing through eBay.Soon after buying several items,I thought maybe I could try my hand at sewing....and with a few failed attempts and lots of determination,I finally caught on and that was all she wrote...I've been sewing ever since!

Posh Piggy Couture was established in 2005 and has allowed me the opportunity to become a proud WAHM and befriend many amazingly talented designers along the way.

I offer fun,custom children's clothing as well as whimsical OOAK designs.All of which are created with love/care,great imagination,quality fabrics and materials.

I take great pride in my designs and hope you will enjoy them as much as I do.All items from Posh Piggy include custom, embroidered clothing labels sewn into each garment.

Here recently I just love Euro designs as they're so much fun,full of imagination and whimsy.Euro pieces just offer so much flare and life aside from the ordinary custom pieces.

I love to read, though I haven't done much in awhile.I love Where the Heart is...the book and the movie.

I've always been a fan of comedies but,some of my favorite movies are Grease,Dirty Dancing,Scent of a Woman...any Al Pacino movie for that matter,Home Fries,American History X...love Edward Norton.,any movies with Matthew Mcconaughey...hehe.
I also LOVE Disney movies.My grandfather and I would go see everyone when I was a little girl...he fell asleep everytime..LOL,my favorite has always been Cinderella.

I love music!Music is like therapy for me...no matter what mood I'm in,I can turn on the stereo,clear my head,and relax.As far as the genre,I'm pretty versatile though,I mainly listen to rock BUT, you could find me crooning along to the blues with TajMahal or becoming a Redneck Woman...lol(which is rare)with the Gretchen Wilson any given day of the week.Just depends on what kind of mood I'm in. ;)

Besides sewing,I love make handmade cards and scrapbooking(which I need to catch up on).I love to chat online with my fellow group members/designers.Other than that,like most,I just love to dabble in dfferent crafty things.Depends what pops into my mind.
